VOLUNTEERING

AMPUTEES NSW is proudly 100% volunteer.

Together, we support anybody affected by limb difference each year. This includes individuals, families, schools, health professionals. workplaces, and government.

Volunteering with AMPUTEES NSW allows you to contribute to our community and introduces you to people with similar interests.

We have a range of volunteer roles to suit different skills, experience, expertise, and commitment levels. This may involve:

  • Planning and coordinating events or helping at events
  • Driving amputees to appointments who do not have other support
  • Peer volunteering for individuals and families with lived experience (contact our team for more information)

The NSW Department of Communities and Justice reports More than 4.8 million NSW residents volunteered in 2020, contributing a combined $127 billion in social and economic benefits, a first-of-its-kind report has found.
