OUR COMMUNITY

Amputee Association of NSW was founded in 1989.

Recently we have established and extended peer support training of volunteers throughout NSW, Amputees NSW provides various programs for individuals at all stages of amputation including contemplation of amputation.

Often a forgotten area within a complex health system, amputees NSW acknowledge that the result (limb loss) has often been the solution for survival and with that comes involvedness with a broader health team.
