A PLACE WHERE LIMB DIFFERENCE IS NOT DIFFERENT

AMP CAMP is Australia’s only camp for Australian youth living with limb loss and or congenital limb differences.

The AMP CAMP program is an initiative of Amputees NSW with the primary purpose of providing a memorable peer camp experience to youth with limb loss or limb differences.

A three-day camp with a program delivered by a great team of volunteers including allied health professionals and experienced amputee role models.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

AMP CAMP focuses on youth aged 12 years and over who have a limb difference.

Specifically targeting those with acquired amputation through chronic illness, significant trauma, and congenital limb difference.

WHY AMP CAMP?

Teens often struggle with their identity and ability to fit into their social groups, arguably more so when they’re living with a physical disability or difference. AMP CAMP strives to ensure that no youth amputee goes through the process of limb loss or limb difference alone and has access to the information and support they need to build confidence, expand their peer community, and regain independence in a supportive fun environment.
